The First Post

Hello, and welcome to Moonbat and Wingnut. This blog is dedicated to chronicling the adventures of that comically mismatched duo, Moonbat and Wingnut. (Hint, Moonbat is the one on the left, Wingnut on the right)

Feel free to leave comments on any of the strips. Any general comments? Criticisms? Suggestions? Topics you’d like to hear my opinion on? This is the place to post whatever you want.

Pretty good stuff. I especially liked the first one with the white bread and toast comparison. You should submit to one of the papers for next semester.

Thanks.
I still will have to see if I am up to writing a new one every day or if source material will hold out post-election.
Besides, I hear both papers are run by incompetent hacks.

Well, I work at the Cardinal and I definitely don't think it's run by incompetent hacks.

Yeah. I was well aware of that, and of other bloggers' ties to the Herald. I am also aware that my humor is often interpreted the wrong way by people that don't know me, but that rarely stops me.
I usually pick up both papers and I am one of the few that actually reads them.
I sent a link to the Cardinal Comics editors, although I'm not sure if it was supposed to go to comics@ or graphics@ (the paper has listed both, alternately). So it's up to them if they want to include M&W. I would consider the BH, but I don't like the idea of losing football games.

I think it's hard to pick up the humor on a blog comment. Either one of those email addresses will get you to the same people, so I'm sure they got it. And, yes, we do kick ass in football games.

Stephen -

The Daily Cardinal would like very much to host your strip next semester. Congratulations! Welcome to the comics staff. The new editors are Brandon Laufenberg and Ryan Lynch, emails above. They will notify you and the other comics artists about deadlines and meetings.

Thanks for contacting us!

The above was reprinted from an email. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. It's certainly good for this strip, as it has been a bit neglected as of late.
